Keys to Progress

On June 12th 2013, Progressive Insurance gave away fifty-nine refurbished vehicles to veterans and their families at "Keys to Progress" events across the country. The refurbished vehicles were restored at local auto body shops as part of the National Auto Body Council's Recycled Rides project. The Keys to Progress event marked one of the largest vehicle donations as part of the Recycled Rides project, which began in 2007 as an effort to recycle vehicles that had been damaged in an accident. Progressive, with the help of Enterprise Rent-A-Car, is also providing insurance on the donated vehicles for the first six months.

The Keys to Progress events were held at Progressive Claims Service Centers, which are specialized claim-handling and repair facilities for Progressive customers. Richard Pilat participated in the local event at the Progressive Claims Service Center in Parma, Ohio. To see photos of the event, check out this album on our Facebook page.
