Meet Our Staff

Richard S. Pilat, CIC
Mr. Pilat, born and raised in the Parma area, is the President and owner of Pilat Insurance Agency. He obtained his insurance license in 1985 and graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance in 1987. Upon graduation, he joined the agency that was founded by his father, Stephen Pilat. Rich completed his Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designation in 1992. He and his wife Diane reside in North Royalton and have two adult daughters, Jennifer and Sarah. Jennifer earned a Ph.D. in Cancer Biology and Sarah earned a Masters degree in gifted education.

Mary Donahue, Customer Service Representative
Mary began working at Pilat Insurance Agency in 1990 and obtained her insurance license in 1999. She has three adult children: Joe, Andrea, and Theresa. She loves spending time with her family, especially her six grandchildren. Her other hobbies include shopping and reading. She especially enjoys her family's annual summer Myrtle Beach vacation. Mary resides in North Royalton with her husband, John.
